The idea of initializing Poetry Theatre, Zagreb Reflections and Zagreb Festival, City of Poetry is aimed at raising Zagreb out of "the sunset of poetry", as well as at establishing new alternative scene performing distinctive speech of eminent poets of 20th and 21st century. We want to make poetry read, spoken and lived. Poetry Theatre and Zagreb Festival, City of Poetry has been establishing poetry through a variety of media.

If there is one thing that poetry can take away from the noise and rage of a century, it can only be done through stressing the silence. It is not about dying in silence, but about urge to measure the space between us and things through speech.
