El Lissitzki’s poster -„Bit the Whites with the Red Wedge” is a synthesis of constructivist and suprematist presumptions. In the same way, the visual solution of a poster shows red and green wedges forming a letter “A” presenting national colours of Hungary as well. The accent is on capital letters M and A representing a parallel to avant-garde magazine MA – Magyar Aktivismus. Similar, but different, elements can be found in Lajos Kassak and Sandor Bortnyk’s graphics from the same period, therefore, the poster creates new cubistic interpretation.
